Differential Output Gain Block Serves m-MIMO

RFMW announces design and sales support for a differential output gain block. Qorvo’s QPA9154 is input matched to 50 Ω and offers a 100 Ω differential-output to directly interface with a transceiver ADC thereby eliminating the need for a discrete balun. Ideal for final gain stages in 2.3-3.8 GHz, 5G m-MIMO base stations, the QPA9154 delivers 19 dB of small signal gain and 35 dBm OIP3. The amplifier features a shut-down function and gain flatness of 0.5 dB over any 400 MHz bandwidth. Housed in a compact 2 x 2 mm SMT package.
