High Linearity Driver Amp for Harsh Environments

The KCB Solutions KA105 is a GaAs pHEMT broadband Driver Amplifier with high linearity usable down to 50 MHz and up to 3.8 GHz.

RFMW announces design and sales support for a GaAs pHEMT broadband driver amplifier from KCB Solutions. Offered in a hermetic, surface-mount (SMT) package for harsh environments, the KA105 delivers high linearity in applications including Defense and Satellite. This Amplifier offers good match from 0.1 to 1.5 GHz. Optimizing the bias inductor and coupling caps will extend the useable frequency range of the part down to 50 MHz and up to 3.8 GHz. Typical gain is 15 dB and it can be supplied and tested to the equivalent screening requirements of MIL-PRF-38535 Class B and S screening flows. MIL-PRF-38535 equivalent QCI product flows, EEE-INST-002 flows, and/or other specialized testing is available upon request.
