RFMW announces design and sales support for a broadband gain block with differential output. The Qorvo QPA9124 gain block offers a 50 Ω single-ended input to 100 Ω differential output allowing direct interface with transceiver ADCs, thereby eliminating the need for a discrete balun. It is well suited for receive path gain stages in 5G m-MIMO BTS and is optimized for 3 to 5 GHz applications. With 20.5 dB of small signal gain and 34.5 dBm output 3rd order intercept (OIP3), the QPA9124 has excellent gain flatness of 0.5 dB over any 400 MHz bandwidth and a CMRR of 35…

RFMW announces design and sales support for high-performance, high power, Bulk Acoustic Wave (BAW) band-pass filter. The Qorvo QPQ1906 exhibits low loss in the Wi-Fi band (Channels 10 – 11) and high, near-in rejection in the 2.4 GHz lower frequency channels allowing simultaneous use of Wi-Fi, Zigbee, Thread or BLE channels. Specifically designed to enable unique use cases where sub-dividing usable channels within the available Wi-Fi spectrum becomes an advantage, bandBoost enhances operation from 2447-2472 MHz while extremely steep filter skirts reject channels 1 – 2. With power handling to +28 dBm average input power, the QPQ1906 supports access points,…

RFMW announces design and sales support for a WiFi 6 (802.11ax) front end module (FEM). Minimizing layout area, Qorvo’s QPF4800 integrates a 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz power amplifier (PA), regulator, two SP2T switches, diplexer, and 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bypassable low noise amplifiers (LNA). Optimizing the PAs for 5V supplies conserves DC power consumption while maintaining the highest linear RF output power and leading edge throughput. Applications include access points, routers, residential gateways and CPEs.
