RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for a pair of GaN amplifiers targeted at weather and marine radar applications. The TriQuint TGA2624 covers 9 to 10GHz while the TGA2625 stretches from 10 to 11GHz. Both TriQuint amplifiers operate from a 28V bias drawing 365mA of current and both the TGA2624 and TGA2625 are offered in DIE formats. The TGA2624 (9-10GHz) supports a saturated output power of 42.5dBm with small signal gain of >35dB. Power added efficiency (PAE) is 40%. TriQuint’s TGA2625 (10-11GHz) is specified at 43dBm Psat with 37dB of gain. Additional information for these devices is available on the RFMW website.
