RFMW, Ltd. announces design and sales support for NXP’s VHF, UHF handheld radio amplifier. With an operating voltage of 7.5V, the AFM907N provides 8 Watts of power for handheld radios operating from 136 to 941MHz. Unmatched input and output ports allow wideband gain >15dB while narrowband performance is as high a 20.7dB. The single ended AFM907N can handle 65:1 VSWR mismatches making it extremely rugged in applications such as TETRA and SSB radios.
