RFMW announces design and sales support for a 5G ready antenna from Cirocomm Corporation. The EHA8A102 Hexaband antenna is designed for remote control applications via cellular services including fleet management and asset tracking as well as remote monitoring and control such as robotics and high performance drones. The embedded design provides wideband performance in traditional LTE bands between 700 MHz and 2.1 GHz, but extends through the 3.5 GHz 5G band and into 5 GHz WiFi bands (5 to 6 GHz). At just 120 x 30 mm, the hexaband antenna offers efficiency in excess of 50% in all bands up to 3.9GHz, providing the user with maximum flexibility and future proofing as new 5G bands become more widely used. |
