Wideband Distributed Amplifier offers Positive Gain Slope

The Microchip MMA052AA GaAs MMIC power amplifier spans DC to 26 GHz with up to 15 dB of positively sloped gain.

 

RFMW announces design and sales support for a GaAs MMIC pHEMT, self-biased distributed power amplifier. The Microchip MMA052AA spans DC to 26 GHz with up to 15 dB of positively sloped gain. Ideal for test and measurement instrumentation, the broad bandwidth also supports applications in military and space, wideband microwave radios and microwave and millimeter-wave communication systems. Mid-band P1dB is ½ Watt with noise figure of 3.5 dB and 37 dB OIP3 using a 10V supply drawing 235 mA. Input and output matched to 50 ohms for ease-of-use, the MMA052AA is offered in DIE format measuring 3 x 1.5 x 0.07 mm.
