Spring Based, Half Wave Dipole Antenna avoids Damage

Southwest Antennas’ 1001-259 half-wave, dipole, omni-directional antenna operates from 1.4 to 1.6 GHz with a peak gain of 2.0 dBi.

RFMW announces design and sales support for a Southwest Antennas’ omni-directional antenna. The 1001-259 half wave dipole operates from 1.4 to 1.6 GHz with a peak gain of 2.0 dBi. Identical to the existing 1001-078 fixed based antenna, the 1001-259 adds an integrated, flexible, coil spring base which provides strain relief and impact deflection capability, thereby reducing the risk of damage if struck by another object. Both the antenna and mated RF radio connectors are protected. A matte black finish and black chrome RF connector are ideal for tactical or low visibility operations.
