Nuvotronics PolyStrata® Packaging
Nuvotronics released a family of game changing, high-performance air cavity packages for MMIC die sizes ranging from 1 mm to 5 mm square. PolyStrata® high-performance mmWave packages deliver best-in-class RF and thermal performance and have been optimized from the ground up, for mmWave applications. These packages offer wideband performance from DC to 50 GHz, with less than 3 dB insertion loss and 12 dB return loss. The second operates from 60 to 95 GHz with 0.65 dB insertion loss and 12 dB return loss. Being formed of copper, the entire range offers excellent thermal conductivity, enabling heat removal from the top side of the package, simplifying design criteria.

Qorvo QPA0017
Qorvo’s QPA0017 is a Ku-Band power amplifier in a compact 7.5×6 mm SMT package. The device targets the 13.75 to 14.5 GHz satcom band, providing 12.5 Watts of linear power with third-order intermodulation distortion products of 25 dBc. The QPA0017 can deliver up to 25 Watts of saturated output power with 35% power-added efficiency. For small-signal operation, gain is 30 dB. With wide instantaneous bandwidth and high power added efficiency, the QPA0017 is an ideal solution for high throughput ground and mobile terminals as well as the growing market of phased array satellite terminals.
SiTime Si7111 and Si7112
SiTime’s Si7111 and Si7112 ruggedized Endura Epoch Oven Controlled Oscillators (OCXO) devices are designed to address the long-standing issues associated with quartz OCXOs, such as issues with performance under vibrations, size, and reliability. Utilizing SiTime’s proprietary temperature sensing technology and advanced CMOS design, they provide outstanding frequency stability under environmental stressors such as airflow, vibration, shock, EMI, and temperature perturbation. The SiT7111 (10 to 60 MHz) and SiT7112 (60 to 220 MHz) OCXOs come in a compact surface mount package (9x7x3.6 mm) and provides ±1 ppb over-temperature stability from -40°C to 95°C, a g-sensitivity of 0.01 ppb/g, ±0.1 ppb daily aging and an Allan deviation of 5E-12. It features a frequency pull range of ±400 ppm via I2C or SPI with fine resolution as low as 0.05 ppt (5E-14). As a result, they can provide 24 holdover performance of less than 1.5 us time error with external aging compensation.

Qorvo’s PAC52711 70V BLDC intelligent motor control feature-rich portfolio of Power Application Controller® (PAC) products by adding new features like VDS sensing, Cycle By Cycle (CBC), Enhanced Sample And Hold (S&H), Windowed Watchdog Timer, hardware based nBRAKE and nDRVDIS for safety-based applications with external safety MCU support. The device integrates a 50MHz Arm Cortex M0 core with 32kB of Flash and 8kB of SRAM. PAC52711 features include a 70V Buck/SEPIC DC–DC controller, 3 high-side 70V/1.2A gate drivers, 3 low-side 20V/1.2A gate drivers, 10-bit high speed ADC, 5V/3.3V I/Os, programmable OC shut-down, Qorvo’s proprietary and patent-pending Multi-Mode Power Manager™, Configurable Analog Front End™, Application Specific Power Drivers™ and more. Qorvo ACT85610
The Qorvo ACT85610 PMIC with Power loss protection is a highly integrated, configurable multiple output power management integrated circuit (PMIC) with built-in power loss protection (PLP) and an input voltage range of 2.7–14V. It features an integrated synchronous power stage with 4 high efficiency buck converters capable of supplying 3 x 4A and 1 x 2A of current with output as low as 0.6V. It also offers a programmable boost storage voltage range of 5.5V to 31V, a programmable 10A input current limit, and built-in circuit protection. The ACT85610 supports various types of storage capacitors, including Tantalum, Electrolytic, POSCAP, and supercapacitors, ensuring seamless transition from input supply to capacitor bank power. Other notable features include thermally enhanced FCQFN packaging, six programmable general-purpose I/Os, input power monitoring, and an I2C serial interface with password protection.
